Twenty years ago, a small group of volunteers in Belgium had a big idea:
What if we brought people together to serve their city in simple, practical ways?<\/em><\/p>\n

From that first step in 2005, Serve the City Belgium<\/strong> has grown into a movement of kindness \u2014 connecting thousands of volunteers with opportunities to serve refugees, the homeless, the elderly, vulnerable children and families, and many others across our communities.<\/p>\n

Now, it\u2019s time to celebrate two decades of compassion in action<\/strong>!<\/p>\n
