A few hours. Four volunteers. One yard transformed! This Friday Focus shines a spotlight on Serve the City Peninsula and a day of teamwork that made a difference for Mr. Sprowl. On Friday September 23rd, four volunteers rolled up their sleeves, tackled the overgrown yard, cleaned up the property, and gave it some much needed care. It was a big job, but together, they got it done!
The heart of this project? Giving back to someone who gives so much. Mr. Sprowl is the director of Claus Cares, an organization that cares for and gives back to others in our community. This time, Serve the City Peninsula had the opportunity to return that care supporting someone who spends so much of his own time serving others.
A big thank you to the four volunteers who showed up, worked hard, and brought this transformation to life! From overgrown to cared for, this yard is a reminder of what happens when people come together to serve. That’s the spirit of Serve the City Peninsula and that’s what community looks like!
We celebrate Serve the City Peninsula!
At Serve the City, many people doing small things together can make a big difference!
