Serve the City Brussels Holds 11th Big Volunteer Week
Serve the City Brussels gathered approximately 120 volunteers a day for a week beginning on 27 June to serve all over the city. The Big Volunteer Week in Brussels was where the Serve the City movement began and continues to spread around the world.
Volunteers gathered for a neighborhood clean-up at the beginning of the week, and then Monday through Friday they were sent out to various projects serving the homeless, the elderly, victims of abuse, children in need, asylum seekers and the disabled. They closed the week of serving with a Celebration Party at the end.
