Good news!
Serve the City International’s partnership with the UPS Foundation is bearing fruit this month as UPS staff members give up their time to work on projects in their city with STC as part of their corporate volunteering month.
Between April and mid-May, STC is organising volunteering activities in 10 UPS cities in Europe, with STC city leaders coordinating with national UPS representatives directly to focus on the needs in their cities and maximise the impact.
So far, 70 UPS staff members have volunteered with STC in Paris and Brussels, preparing over 150 packages for the vulnerable, and distributing food to asylum seekers and to the homeless on the streets. The volunteering events were also attended by members of the UPS Senior Management teams, who are setting an example to their staff members together to show kindness to people in need.
It is hoped that the collaboration between UPS Foundation and STCi will bring many more volunteers and resources to our network, expanding our corporate partnerships and spreading our values across Europe!
