On the heals of our International Forum and the great response we had to our Shared Social Concern workshops, we present a great opportunity to continue those conversations and learn more!

We are so glad to be initiating conversations, learning from experts, getting to each other and elaborating on ideas around the subject of Shared Social Concerns (SSC).

We want to go even further! We would like to offer you continuous opportunities to learn, talk and connect. Therefore, we are organising our first Shared Social Concerns Night on the 10th of November from 18:00 to 19:30 CET.

We will be kicking off our first meeting with a focus on our Shared Social Concerns of The Refugee Crisis and Human Trafficking & Modern Slavery.

These teams are led by Fianne van Kuppenveld and Hazel Lincy Ebenezer respectively.

Both teams are made up of members including our workshop speakers and individuals from our STC community who have attended SSC events in the past. All the SSC teams are continuously under development, so we are very keen to invite you in and have you to contribute to the team according to your interests.

Below is the program of the first SSC night, this Tuesday November 10th, from 18:00 to 19:30 CET.

18:00 The Refugee Crisis

We will kick off with The Refugee Crisis. Our SSC team, supported by external experts, will give a short introduction. Following this, attendees will collaborate on setting goals as individuals or as a city. We will wrap up with introducing goals as a global movement while looking at refugees.

18:40 Hangout time

During the hangout time, attendees and speakers have the possibility to chat more informally and exchange ideas and challenges from our local environments.

18:50 Human Trafficking & Modern Slavery

Following the hangout, we will have another 40 minutes to talk about Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery. Our SSC team, supported by external experts, will give a short introduction. Following this, attendees will collaborate on setting goals as individuals or as a city. We will wrap up with introducing goals as a global movement while looking at creating city networks to combat human trafficking and serve its victims.

We hope to welcome you all this upcoming Tuesday on our Zoomcall.

Feel free to join for both Shared Social Concern topics or for just The Refugee Crisis or Human Trafficking & Modern Slavery sessions.
