How do I start Serve the City in my city?
Are you interested in starting Serve the City in your city?
In each city, Serve the City is led by a City Leader who forms a Core Team to build partnerships with local non-profit associations in order to create projects where people can volunteer. Serve the City provides resources, coaches and a network of other cities to learn more about how to create projects, make connections in your city, and much more!
Thanks to years of experience in many cities around the world, Serve the City has developed numerous resources to help City Leaders grow their Serve the City movement through 5 Life Stages: Interest, Starting, Active, Sustainable, and Hub. Serve the City teams are connected to the global movement by participation in a network or national movement. Monthly calls keep everyone connected.
Are you interested in being a City Leader? Or maybe you see yourself more as a member of a Core Team? Either way, the first step is to determine if there is a vision and values fit for you with Serve the City. You can already discover a lot by listening to one of our podcasts and reading stories from Serve the City around the world (on our news page). After doing so, if you want to move forward you can enroll in our interest course on our Focus learning platform, or if would like to connect with one of our coaches to learn more please email hello@servethecity.net for the next step!
