Serve the City Lisbon Receives Volunteering Award
The global Serve the City family will be happy to know Serve the City Lisboa recently received the top national volunteer award – Troféu Português de Voluntariado 2014. This recognition arose from the project “Community Workshops”, a spin off initiative of the Community Dinners, named “Flagship Project” by the European Commission on the International Year of Volunteer Work 2011. Congratulations!
Serve the City in Estonia Featured on National Television
Serve the City helpers at a Kopli soup kitchen were interviewed on Christmas Eve as they distributed snacks, gingerbread, tea and winter clothes to the needy in Tallinn. Watch the video here (second half of the video is in English).
