Serve the City International partnered with UPS Foundation Europe to reinforce our volunteer impact and make a difference to the lives of those we care for in our cities!
130 UPS staff members gave almost 300 hours of their time for UPS Volunteering Month 2023, supporting refugee children, the homeless, migrants, asylum seekers, the elderly, nurses and hospital staff, and lower income individuals in Germany, France, Ireland, Portugal and Belgium.
A total of 906 care packages and 276 meals were prepared and distributed in Porto, Brussels, Neuss, Cologne and Paris, while the UPS team in Dublin helped to restore a home to a habitable condition for its owner to move back into after a long stay in hospital.
Through 5 simple volunteering initiatives, UPS volunteers were able to reach a total of 887 beneficiaries across Europe!!
