Congratulations to STC Diemen and STC Ireland on Awards Received
Serve the City Diemen was awarded first prize amongst 16 presenters in the city-wide campaign “Small Action, Big Result”. They received an award of 250 euros to develop their idea for connecting local families with newly arrived refugees in Diemen.
Serve the City Ireland received the Dublin Bus Community Spirit Award and support towards their continuing efforts to help marginalized and vulnerable people in practical ways in their homes.
Serve the City International Forum Coming Up in November in Lisbon
Coming up soon! On 12-15 November STC city leaders and core teams will gather in Lisbon to deepen friendships, share what they are learning, and face challenges together.
Featured will be workshops in volunteer management, fundraising, neighborhood transformation, communication/use of social media, team/leadership development, and intro to STC for beginners. An STC Cities Marketplace will be held for the exchange of ideas and matching of resources with needs within the STC movement. All will conclude with a Fiesta evening, Lisbon style!
