25 May Masterclass: The Roma Community
Serve the City International’s Shared Social Concerns Team invites you to our Masterclass on the Roma Community, taking place on Tuesday, 25th May from 19.00 to 20.30 CET.
Moving from awareness and towards understanding.
The Roma community in Europe is a unique culture, and transcends national borders. Most would say the needs in the Roma community generally exceed readily apparent resources.
Roma people are concentrated in South Eastern Europe, but travel to many other countries – sometimes short-term, sometimes long-term, and sometimes as victims of human trafficking.
How can Serve the City, as a global charity, facilitate connections between best practices learned among the Roma in the South East European context with opportunities to serve Roma families living elsewhere?
How could this approach also apply to other similar social concerns when there is a ‘source’ and ‘destination’ context at play?
Join us as we learn together and work towards answering these important questions for our organization.
